Meet Tamara

Tamara brings over 20 years of experience from her extensive background working on high-caliber workplace and commercial interiors projects. She has designed award-winning commercial interior environments for some of the most influential companies in the Bay Area. Her diverse portfolio of over 2 million square feet includes interior build-outs for tech companies, law firms, venture capital firms, performing arts spaces, and private residences. Many of her workplace projects have included amenities such as full-service cafes, fitness centers, karaoke rooms, and even bowling alleys. Her passion for providing personalized care and attention to each project sparked her to form Taro Design Studio in 2022.

As an industry leader and Revit expert, Tamara also teaches interior design and Revit courses at UC Berkeley Extension and West Valley College. She is passionate about inspiring the next generation of designers and volunteers with the IIDA Northern California Chapter to mentor interior design students.
